No, the service does not provide a detox but we do work in conjunction with Doctors and Care Managers to support you at the ‘tail end’ of your detox from ‘any form’ of subscribed detox medication.
Possibly, each case is taken on individual merit and circumstance, prescribed medication which is mood and mind altering will be discussed and a reduction plan may be implemented where appropriate
Yes, however at The Second Chance Project we look upon alcohol as a drug, this means our programme does not discriminate against any drug. We are interested in addiction in general and recovery as a whole
